Have you ever been 


afraid to go to sleep?
No matter what you do, 


the inside fear is to deep
And every time you try, 


your body gets paralyzed?
So you keep yourself busy, 


trying not to close your eyes.
You ever seen a shadow, 


as it stares back at you,
you try to scream for help 


because you can't move
Trying to turn yourself over, 


but your eyes only move
Feeling like your going to die, 


Noticing something evil is in your room.
It doesn't move though
as it glares only staring, 
The only thing I can feel
is my heart racing 
My mind goes blank 
and my body's panicking
