It was the Battle of Mustafar
I tried
I swear I did
But you were too far down the path of
I was the enemy
Friendship severing
Limb by limb
Embracing is no longer an option
You are consumed by what you fall upon
Searing you with you own ground
I was trying to take the high ground to show you a better half
But you jump at my throat left me only to defend
Defend others against future damage, defend myself at you growing hatred
Trying to become one with everyone to see the good in you
I still see it but you have walked a road in which I can no longer help you
It's all on you now
Maybe somewhere down the line you will be able to grow past your anger and have some healthy pride
Without belittling others
You hate me
I loved you, but I could walk the path you decided to choose
Instead I took hope to a barren planet of potential
So that I can see it rise in others and so that I may rest.
But it all seems like yesterday
The Battle of Mustafar
