Bite your tongue, keep the peace.
Hold back words, don't try to speak.
There's no point to having a fight,
Shut your mouth, just sleep tonight.
Hold your breath, they say you're wrong.
Feel the words to every song.
It's welling up, it won't be stopped.
Get it out before you pop.
Speak your mind,
Say your peace,
Time runs out in merely a blink.
To keep it in may cause your demise,
So let it out when it begins to rise.
