So, Im not trying to offend you, I just stopped to tell you that I was watching you while you were across the hall, and wanted to be sure someone told you that I see your not quite as beautiful as you thought.
Hold up, I wasn't finished, if you leave now then I'll regret it.
I see that your appearance is absolutely captivating and that's why you were in my eye scope.
I saw you for a moment, before you covered it up so no one would notice.
That your wearing a long sleeve shirt in the middle of the summer.
I caught a glimpse of your story before you rolled them back up, and I saw you getting sick looking when you almost threw up.
I doubt people tell you that it's okay you shot your relief from the pain into your veins,
Those scars though can show you what you don't want back,
I saw you stare in the window at your reflection to cover all the obvious dark spots that a "man" in your life obviously placed his hand down with the force of his insecurities that you let him take out on you.
Most people would look right thru you, another nameless face in the crowd.
But I could only see you,
Because I saw how empty it was in your eyes,
You didn't say anything but I could almost clear as day hear your desperate cry for help, the one everyone else just ignores.
I know your scared and your hiding your feelings, but I was meant to find you here.
We can walk away together from every
Thing causing you this hurting, I'll do nothing more then end the
Nightmare you are living.
You can be just glowing beautiful if you let the outside match the soul.

A glimpse into the soul of a broken woman, almost undetectable to vision alone.
I saw the hurt in this women's eyes.
It was all too familiar to me, like seeing my mother again back when I was a little boy.
A small voice deep inside me, a version of me hiding so deep inside me, yet I
Understood all of it before I could think at all.
I spoke words straight from my heart, the truth that I have known,
And this woman grabbed onto me
And held her miracle life jacket so tight
That she didn't think she could ever let go.
Fear and shame had been what
Guided her on that dark dreary road she was on.
Once our lives collided her many abusers didn't stand a chance to win the fight.
She now glows so bright.
By looking at her now you wouldnt even know that she was a domestic abuse survivor and a recovering addict who switched her dope for hope.
