Time is simply motion
Endless movement year to year 
If it is rarely utilized 
Opportunities disappear 

It is a way of changing things 
To find life more to gain
It’s a tool to deal with tragedy 
To modify the pain

It can also strengthen a life well lived 
With family and friends 
Connecting and sharing the happy times 
With pleasure at day’s end 

There is a belief by some 
I hope it’s just a few 
That biding time with nothingness 
Can take away the blues 

The issue may not be profound 
But if it’s cause for concern 
The quicker you put your time to work
The better your return
