When making a decisionWe have an expected visionWe have to understandIt may not be what’s plannedNo matter what the decisionAs we travel down life’s roadThe result may not be precisionBut we still must carry the loadWe can look to blame othersFor this surprising poor resultBut the truth is-if we face itWould be a pure insultThe reality of maturityA component very strongWe are responsible for that decisionBe it right or wrongWe love to take the creditIf it turns out really wellBut regardless of the way it wentThe truth we have to tellIt’s often painful to admitIf it didn’t turn out rightBut admission with honestyIs a vital-admirable sightWe also should rememberWhen it comes to familyAdmitting a mistake that’s madeReveals their honestyYes-being honest should carry much weightIt builds respect- helps to connectThat should be plain to seeAll will be proud when you say out loud“I’ve got a great family”
