Jesus Saves Poem

Oh what a wonderful Savior that we serve,
He has done so much more for me than i could ever deserve.
God sent his Son to die on Calvary's Cross,
To pay our debt Christ suffered loss.
He came here to this cruel lonely earth,
Where he faced many problems from the moment of his birth.
Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life,
He is always a prayer away to help us through the pain and strife.
I am thankful he saved a wretch like me,
Because without Him in Hell is where i would be.
I stand here today and testify Jesus Saves still today,
And i hope you leave here today pointing people to the straight and narrow way.
Jesus Saves is not just a  name on our sign,
And how Jesus is always just a prayer away really blows my mind.


Helping others is what is all about,
Helping others in need even when sometimes we do without.
We live in America the land where there is more than enough,
Land of technology, money, and oikes and piles of stuff.
It is our job as a church to be a blessing,
In a world where when you turn on the tv it is so distressing.
It is not our job to judge people or condemn,
It is our job to be obedient and point them to Him.
