Oh how bitter he was. Driven mad from the salty sea. Lonley was he as he casted his fishing pole but only to recive nothing on the other end of the line. Only he on his boat where alone he was left to wallow in his own sorrow for he wouldn't catch fish to day or later that morrow. He tried so desperately to catch a single gilled creature but his tries were only in vain. His eyes he strained looking out on the fogged covered water. Not a ripple in the water to be seen. Little did he know the fish did not want to go by his pitiful boat. His feelings of missing his wife were driving the bubbly fish away. Maybe he should call her, maybe text her. Their last meeting was not so great. All this loneliness was heavy enough to make his pole break. Shame he feels for treating his wife with such disrespect oh a call or a text what will he do next? He thought to himself fish were abundant when she was around. The sun smiled down on her when she sang in his little wooden boat. He remembered her song... "What a beutiful day to lay in the sunshine... You are mine and I am yours inseparable that is our life lines" Oh he cried tears of joy and he decided he would apologize for his actions. He smiled as he dialed her number. Cheeks so red and blushy filled with warmth. She answers " Hello?"
"Oh Hello Dear!" He cries. She says sadly " I was thinking about you and your little wooden boat and I miss you..." His eyes all watery he replies with " Im so sorry dear for even making you shed a single tear I love you so much. Such shame i feel such sorrow". "Please sing for me and the fish and sun for the world and I miss your very presence". He had lit a fire in her heart a fire that grew. She says swiftly "ill be there in a jiffy" and they end the call. The fog disappeared and ripples began to apear. In the distance he could here is wifes beutiful voice. "Im here for you" she says. He pulls up to the dock and says "im so glad your here". He holds out his hand and she takes it carefully stepping in the boat. They hugged and he apologized and she accepted. That day he caught more fish than he had in a long time. That same day she made a lovely fish dinner that was shared with the neighborhood and that is what love can do.
