A short time ago, there were three colors streaking across the night sky once a month. They we red, yellow, and blue. The same day, a boy named Kuro found his Game Boy Advance and his copy of Pokemon Emerald. He booted up the ancient system, and found his character to be on Southern Island with all eight Gym Badges and the title for Champion, and the Pokedex had only one missing entry: #381.

Kuro found Southern Island to be longer than he thought. There were also signs everywhere. What they said varied, but they all meant "Get out of here immediately!" Then, after checking the thirteenth sign, the lone working speaker let out a loud screech that was the same as a Latias cry. Convinced he was playing a hacked version of Pokemon Emerald, he kept playing the game.

After a little while, and another Latias cry from the speakers, he reached the end of Southern Island. He found, to his delight, a Shiny Latios. When he went to battle it, he ended up in the Shiny Latios' POV. As he expected, his Absol used False Swipe to get the Shiny Latios to 1 HP, then caught it with an Ultra Ball. Suddenly, a text box appeared, saying, "Shiny Latios would like to be free." Each time the pop-up appeared, Kuro would select "No." The messages got more threatening as he kept saying no.

Finally, on the three thousand, one hundred forty-one thousandth time it appeared, a dreadful screech came out of the speaker. Then, Kuro fainted. When he woke up, he was in a black void where the words "Why won't you set him free?" were the only thing that happened. He also was a Shiny Latios. Apparently, in the real world, Kuro had died by stuffing himself into a dryer and burned.

A month later, a green flash of light appeared alongside the other colors of light. Some say it is the spirit of the Shiny Latios that Kuro would not free, and is now stuck inside the spirit. But nobody knows for sure.
