Darkness is all I have ever know
I would always choose it with my eyes closed
That is until I saw glimpses of light
Promising me warmth and comfort.

Daily I would see  a little more light
Promising more warmth and comfort
Until it seemed to equal with darkness


That is when I knew I had to choose
But they all look appealing at the moment
Making it hard for me to choose
For I don't want to regret in future.


Light is more safe 
But darkness is like my comfort zone.
Within it my secrets are safe
Or so I tell my self.

I know what is right
I know what I want
But just knowing is not enough
I need to act
But my body seems to have a mind of its own.

I want to step into the light
But my feet keeps dragging me into darkness
What I want don't do
And what I don't want I keep doing.

    If you control your mind you can make a better decision about your future It sounds like you are uncomfortable Without knowing what the future brings which is a normal feeling for all of us But by staying in your dark zone of comfort you relegate yourself to a permanent stagnation By making a change you have an opportunity to find life quality By staying where you are you have NO Chance Try controlling your mind Don’t let it control you You have the power to do this if you have the desire
