Deep within a deep dark corner sits no more than a child.

A deep dark corner within a deep dark room.

Knees against their chest. They call out, not a sound is made. They look around not a window in sight. Not a window in sight, into the room can there be no light.

A deep dark corner in a deep dark room within a deep dark house.

No furniture to be sat on, not items within this house. Barren and empty as a grave.

A deep dark corner in a deep dark room in a deep dark house within a deep dark city.

No sun during the day no moon at night. Not even a star in the sky. No happiness to be had and no crime left undone.

A deep dark corner in a deep dark room in a deep dark house in a deep dark city within a deep dark nation.

Farming fields filled with graves. Churches painted in blood. Criminals lining the streets and the worst of them a leader of this nation.

A deep dark corner in a deep dark corner in a deep dark house in a deep dark city in a deep dark nation within a deep dark world.

Lies, the currency. Arguments, the way of communication. The sound of gun shots, the roaring wind in the background. Scowls, the smiles upon one's face. Truly the world has no light shined upon it.

A deep dark grave within a deep dark corner...
