You came inside and calmed my storms.
Smiled at my darkness in all it's different forms.
I fell inside your gentle eyes,
From the start I was mesmerized.
With each soft touch upon my skin,
I desired you so much, and that's my sin.
It tore apart my very soul,
The knowledge that I'd never feel whole.
Inner peace would not be found,
In my misery I am bound.
I knew one day that it would end,
My only hope was to still be friends.
My heart is yours, that you should know.
But when you go,
Kill me slow.
