They said we should go for a change in one voice
We marched through every streets on bare foot, seeking
To avenge loots.
Our feet aching with Sores, our legs trembling from long
queues
with sweat drenched bodies and hopeful hearts
We urged our brothers to join the march.
We captured the crowd with our zeal and eagerness
Together we stood for what we thought we
Believed in.
Thousands of minutes have been drained, still i am yet to
Realise my gains.
Once again hopes are crushed, dreams are forgotten,
Wishes vanishes.
Hunger takes a majestic walk round the same city
We captured.
The sours from the march are left unhealed.
Again we raise our voice and question our choice
But we are told we are the change we seem to seek!
