The mother rabbit lay in her metal hay cage waiting for her to give birth. The baby rabbit lay immobile floating in the blood. There were several baby rabbits all of them with black or white patches. Suddenly kids dashed through the doors to check on the rabbit. They were shouting and screaming and scaring the mother rabbit. The mother shouted at them and left the mother rabbit to have her holy newborns. The next day it took 3 hours to give birth. Sadly one of them died as it was too small and weak for the real world but at least 3 of them survived the dangerous birth treatment. They lay in the golden nest as their mother kept them warm by snuggling her fluffy fur onto them very gently trying not to squash them. The kids zoomed to see the babies but the mother explained "do not breathe or else the babies will die as the mother will sense human on them and sadly kill them". The kids hold their breathe and watched the micro bunnies move slightly in their nest. After a long first day of life it was finally night time. The babies slept motionless while the mother looked at the night sky. Suddenly the mother heard a slight growl. The mother hid her babies onto the other side of the cage not to be seen. A red angry fox was coming closer and closer to the cage growling more and more harder the closer it gets. The babies cried as the it got closer and sniffed the cage. The rabbits tried to stay in the cage where nothing can see them but failed as the mother accidentally hopped out thinking that it was gone. The fox bit the cage and shaked it making the babies move side to side. The mother rabbit kicked the foxes face making him let go of the cage. The owner heard the mayhem and chased the fox off. Finally the rabbits got a good night sleep. The next morning the baby bunnies drank their mothers milk. It was so delicious and creamy. The owner let out some lettuce bits and grain for the mother. Breakfast was lovely. The kids went to school and the owner went to work and sent someone to mind the rabbits. The baby rabbits liked the minder as she played with them and stroked them ( it was such a good life as a rabbit) until the day came.....
