Not even mine and she's hard to let go.
Living in dreams, a fantasy I know.
I wish her well with all that she does,
hoping she knows I'd give her my love.
One more hug, one more glimpse,
if I could I'd give her a kiss.
Maybe in time, our wounds will heal.
Perhaps one day, we'll learn to feel.
And if that future is not meant to be, I'll
have no regret to have felt loves sting.
Ever so passionate, her spirit devine,
I wanted to love her, but she was never
mine.
