Amids the dark lurking behind my back
Theirs a light that glimmering in my path
Trying to guide me to a brighter future
But why do i always turn back 
And never cease the chance to step forward

Im so scared to grasp the light
Scared of the shadows of my past
Scared to be criticized by others
Scared to be shone away by my love ones
