If you are young in years 
And facing all kinds of fears 
Tearing you up inside
With no place for your troubled mind to hide

You face a very bitter task
“What can I do- Who can I ask  “
Is a natural   question if you seek help
It Is almost impossible to do it yourself 

If you’ve given up but tried
Or believed there was no point 
You may be doing yourself a disservice 
With the fear of being burnt 

One issue you might consider 
As bad as things might be
There are many years ahead of you 
You surrender the chance to see

Frightened and confused 
Can distort your thoughts 
And rob you of your chance 
Many before you have fought and won
They basked many years in the glow of
the sun

You may be listening to others 
In situations just like you
They may be  to trying to persuade you
To”do as I will do”

If you honestly believe your thinking for
yourself 
That your life isn’t worth a future 
There’s no one that can help

If you’re motivated by fear you’re ashamed 
And you believe others influences are the ones to blame 

Use your brain and your heart as well
Take a chance on life and get out of your 
hell
Many succeeded and many tried 
Most found happiness on the other side
