There was a girl
Who was happy and fun
But inside was a lonley one
When with her friends, as happy
As can be
But when alone, she was dark and scary
She drew pictures only at night
That would give her such a fright

The pictures were drawn on a canvas with blood red
The paintbrush a razor
The canvas her arm
She wore long sleeves so no one knew
She sometimes wondered if anyone one else drew, too

One day she met a boy
So sweet and kind
He said he loved her
She thought that was a lie
They went on a date, and by mistake
He saw her drawings on her arms and thighs
She started to cry, not knowing a reason why

The boys gave her a hug and kiss
Then lifted to his shirt and showed her his scares
Then whispered to her as quiet as can be
"I still love you, cause I draw too"
