After the shock wore offI took time to reflect 
The reason the break up makes no sense to me 
His accusations I totally reject 

We’ve had our share of quarrels
We always set them right
 After a thirty years of friendship 
What could have caused a fight

I’ve pondered this weird issue 
Reviewed all I could find
My final sane conclusion 
He must have lost his mind

The scars of pain will still remain 
But they’ll diminish and fade fast
I’ve still got quality every day
I’ll strive to help that last 

I’ll not  be caught in the of trap hoping
That the situation will eventually change
I’m moving on and going back
To good living where I’m bsck on track
