I’ve done just about all in this life
Never had “Illusions of Grandeur”
Just my share  of happiness and accomplishment
Through this adventure I have had to navigate through obstacles- some horrendous- some annoying and some I carry to the end
There are regrets but I’ve learned by changing the script you can change the
direction you travel and possibly eliminate cherished people in your life
In spite of my limitations I have a wonderful family and friends
I began writing after the death of my son Marc in 1989 as a way of dealing with the grief
This transitioned into poetry and developed a passion in me that has been a major part of my life -yielding
happiness- contentment- a feeling of accomplishment as well as learning from reading both amateur and professional writers
With whatever time I have left- as I reflect back on my 85 years -
I deal with the shitty issues as best I can  and sit back in my emotional easy chair with gratitude

  • We each have our own journey in this path called Life. A path that is unpredictable, filled with questions and mysteries. And like any path, there are bound to be bumps, potholes, many twists and turns, and sometimes even dead ends. But move forward we must. How we handle what comes our way, whether good or bad, is our choice. We set the tone for what we choose to feel inside. Another inspiring piece. Keep writing.💜
