I’ve done just about all in this lifeNever had “Illusions of Grandeur”Just my share of happiness and accomplishmentThrough this adventure I have had to navigate through obstacles- some horrendous- some annoying and some I carry to the endThere are regrets but I’ve learned by changing the script you can change thedirection you travel and possibly eliminate cherished people in your lifeIn spite of my limitations I have a wonderful family and friendsI began writing after the death of my son Marc in 1989 as a way of dealing with the griefThis transitioned into poetry and developed a passion in me that has been a major part of my life -yieldinghappiness- contentment- a feeling of accomplishment as well as learning from reading both amateur and professional writersWith whatever time I have left- as I reflect back on my 85 years -I deal with the shitty issues as best I can and sit back in my emotional easy chair with gratitude

We each have our own journey in this path called Life. A path that is unpredictable, filled with questions and mysteries. And like any path, there are bound to be bumps, potholes, many twists and turns, and sometimes even dead ends. But move forward we must. How we handle what comes our way, whether good or bad, is our choice. We set the tone for what we choose to feel inside. Another inspiring piece. Keep writing.💜
