I wonder how blue you are.
Fact that you are a charcoal polka dot.
I wonder how red my blood.
While I was waiting here to get my medicine.
I looked like a fire in your eyes.
But I don't care.
Standing in front of a cashier, waiting
Staring at the long hallway to ER.
It seems very far away.
Nurse and doctors passed me by.
Dim light, cold air, the darkness and sadness mixed in my heart.
I'm on my way.
Will I be alright then?
Baby is crying.
Dog is barking.
And I am dying.
Under my wings I don't want to die.
I hugged this little one.
Whispered, I'm going to be okay.
We're going to be okay.
