A positive outreach is a good quality, however, it can create an adverse effect, causing one unwanted suffering. These situations arise when we least expect it, then brought into our existence by a negative force of energy. When people are extremely happy and positive towards situations, it can easily convert them from being an optimist to a pessimist. When things don’t go as planned and the bad outweighs the good, the ability to look at the brighter side decreases. 
They say the grass is always greener on the other side, but fail to realize what's lies beneath that seemingly green grass...it's called 'bullshit' and  the world we live in today has an endless supply to convert into fertilizer to keep that eye-catching grass looking spectacular! There are many who long to be there, convinced that life would be far greater on the other side. Lets be realistic though, is it really? Actually, no it's not. And when one's determination fails and they're unable to reach for that 'seemingly appealing' other side, their demeanor  changes completely, just like that!
Acceptance pertaining to those dreadful attributes will not only define you as an optimist, but make you feel like one as well. Life is full of ups and downs and neither one can always be up nor down at all times, these ups and downs fluctuate and it's beneficial to find some kind of balance to juggle the two. They will swing between both in a seesaw effect.The happy moments will fade away at the same speed as Flash runs and Thanos wiped half the planet with his snap. In those moments one doesn’t only have to be positively inclined, but logically as well, and to some extent, negatively. When joy fades away, it allows an individual to obtain growth. Like when the  caterpillar converts into a magnificent butterfly. Growth is a slow process, you can’t convert from a seed to a sunflower without sunlight, rain and fertilizers. There would be insects trying to bite you while forming holes,  making you feel hollow inside, but there are pesticides to prevent them. Hailstorms might make your stem a tad bit loose but the dedication to stick around keeps the flower alive. This is the importance of negativity. Bad times increase the capacity to survive, give strength to continue with the hope that one day the growth process will form a fully bloomed sunflower. The stems might be a little loose but the roots are still as strong as they were before. In times to come, the stem will repair itself back to how it once was. It won't happen overnight, but all in good time take and well worth it, too because slow progress is also progress. The negativity will motivate you to do better, probably more than what a positive situation will do, so embrace it to the fullest.
