Here I be, floating on my back in an ocean as I gaze upon the stars that fill the night sky.

An ocean of deep thinking, and a night sky of choices that light up.

The first relationship with this girl had fallen apart in a matter of days, yet, even though I have given up on her, I still enjoy her company.

She retains her strong desire for me, nothing above an obsession, but a hopeful dream.

I remain talking to her whenever I see fit, her slow responses do little to halt my swift replies and we engaged in coversation.

Within me, I hear the echo of my pounding heart, her beauty, her smile, her eyes, all floods back to me.

1:53 A.M currently.

I still recall just a few days prior, she had brought my emotions for her back to the surface via digital letters.

She sent a little face with a smile and light red cheeks.

Perhaps, this is what she intended? Or is it my fragile mind that perceives such possibility of seperate hearts being intertwined once again?

The edges of my soul insist upon me to tread carefully, to avoid entanglements that shall drown me.

Gazing upon the night sky, I must carefully choose the most perfect star or else I shall, once again, find myself in a rewind of former mistakes.
