My Final Plea

Release me from these chains,
For I wear them as pains.
Penance paid for the innocent heart.
Unwittingly I did play a part.

For mercy does my soul plea,
From everything left within me.
What others did not take?
From my body, they did berate.
Leaving my whole being to ache.

From an innocent child, I did start.
Until he came and ripped me apart.
With lustful hands of greedy man.
He stole, what I’d given to no man.

Wishing for them all to see.
These effects of his lecherous deed.
His blood lust from me to bleed.
Maybe then they’d believe.

In shadow, I did hide.
Concealing tiny knife.
Flowing tears throughout this night.
Resolved to take my very life.

This child they so easily beat.
Who lay dying, and bleeds.
All along had been telling truths indeed.
Too late for them to see….

For this shall be,
my final plea
