We all yearn to be lovedIt’s a basic human trait 
We all want it “yesterday “
No one wants to wait 

The flip side of this romantic coin
Is what are YOU willing to do
To complete the dream your partner wants
To share this happy view

What will make you happy 
You hope you will receive 
Will you in turn  present those gifts 
To seal the love perceived 

Another part of the issue 
In giving what each other needs 
Can you offer sacrifice 
To soothe a heart that bleeds

Relationships are challenging 
Both have to be prepared 
If you expect to receive support 
Do you feel it can be shared 

If you’re willing to share the good
Are you ready to share the low
If you make that commitment to your
love
Your future is bound to glow
