A deep stare into space
The thought that races in
I see you there
Just as always, you come
A smile from a distance 
No one else is around
From blissful perspective 
It’s you I see no one else
We talk and you are brought into my world 
What seems like minutes is hours
No essence of time exist between us
But yet you fight it
And the stare begins to fade 
Until I am staring down a long empty road
