As they put it-start with a “clean slate “
A clean slate implles erasing the past 
experience blackboard 
Past experiences are essential for direction for the present and future 
Without that there is no guide to steer you in the direction you choose to pursue 
Without that you may  encounter the same pitfalls as before 
Do not fear past experiences use them 
all to help you seek you cherished goals
