All of this new is so new but still shattered
Learning to live with this spirit thats battered 
A broken elation that lacks in delivery 
But ever so certain that God will forgive me
That all of my wrongs have a reason theyre written
Like Adam and Eve when the apple was bitten
That all of those moments though awful are crucial
The beauty behind all these beatings so brutal
That all of these moments I've missed have a meaning
That deep in this heartbreak lies lessons worth gleaning
That all of my mis steps have moments worth teaching
To those who still stand empty handed and reaching
A clever confusing and caustic concoction
But others can bloom as I breathe in these toxins
The liver of life losing ground to these lesions
While dying inside I know God has his reasons 
 Though painful my purpose brings peace and a pardon,
This heartache I sew reaps my seat in the garden ❤
