Caring is sharing-it’s being there
It represents true concern
It’s not a  casual metaphor 
It comes from trust that’s earned

Some use expressions
 To satisfy belief 
That the words they use with others 
Can bring them quick relief 

Caring has little meaning 
If  it  demonstrates no action 
It really has no value 
To start s good reaction

To really show you care
You have to really listen 
To the person with the issues
To discover what they’re missing 

Even if you help 
It may not be enough 
But giving true support 
Can start to change the rough 

The crucial point that’s made
That both will understand 
You’re there to give them aid
And are their helping hand
