There’s nothing wrong in reaching for the stars 
It’s a sign of pure desire 
It’s a dream that you persue
To set your heart on fire 

You may attain it-you may not 
The result can be uncertain 
If they tell you you cannot 
Don’t ever close that curtain

The is the element of reality 
One has to keep in mind
There is no clear cut guarantee 
Without the effort to push on- there is no hope to find 

You may not reach your fervent goal 
Though  your effort is courageous 
Disregard-“I told you so”
Their negative’s outrageous 

There may be deep disappointment 
If you’ve tried and did not achieve 
Take pride in your persistence 
To give you strong relief 

There’s a probability your dream has happened 
You’ve reached and found success 
Either way if you reflect on it
There’s pride and happiness
