Culture of Change Yoga is an outdoor activity in Palm Beach that you can enjoy while also giving back to the community. This City Place event is a once a month yoga class that is led by Jennifer Martin. However, every month, this yoga class raises money for a different organization or cause. In August, this yoga class is raising money for a non-profit organization called Feeding South Florida, and the class will take place on August 29th from 7 pm to 8:15 pm. You can sign up for the event here. Supporting an organization like Feeding South Florida is a great way to give back to the community. Feeding South Florida is a non-profit hunger relief organization that serves 25% off the state’s food insecure population. Feeding South Florida is the largest food bank that serves Palm Beach, Monroe, Miami-Dade, and Broward counties. It is also a great organization to support because you know the money you are donating is going back into your local area; this is because 98% of donations are put back into Florida communities. When you support Feeding South Florida, every dollar you donate can provide six meals to those in need. That is why the Culture of Change Yoga class in August could be a great way for you to support your community and enjoy a great yoga practice at the same time. Don’t miss out on this City Place event. Culture of Change Yoga has been going on throughout 2019. This event launched in January 2019, and it has been raising money for great causes ever since. In January, Culture of Change Yoga supported arts and culture and raised money for Young Friends of the Norton. This event raised $460 for that cause in January. In February, Culture of Change Yoga supported the American Heart Association and raised over $600 for Heart Month. March was Women’s History Month, so Culture of Change partnered with Dress for Success to raised over $550 and collect over 20 donated bags. In April, 23 books and $250 were collected for the Literacy Coalition of PBC. Then, in May, over $280 was raised for the Armory Arts Center. As you can see, Culture of Change Yoga is a great event that has supported many great causes over 2019. Also, Culture of Change Yoga is just a fun outdoor activity in West Palm that you can enjoy.
