Looking Through A Child's Eyes: Fortress Alone Read Count : 10

Category : Poems

Oh the sweet smell of the fresh green leaves, feeling of calmness and serenity.
Walking through the forest alone, in my heart a lightness in the abode.
A fallen tree forgotten in time, perfect first starting to build something of mine.
Each step I take, is each step I make.

Gathering the branches from the fallen trees and using twine to tie thee.
Piece by piece, and step by step a wall goes up it's tough as it gets.
On each corner way it finally stay in the fortress I have built on my own this way.
A place of solitude for my mind to remain.
