Tired Eyes, Quiet Moments Read Count : 48

Tired eyes and wary mind,

she just wants to rest.

I'd give her a gentle kiss,

as her head lay against my chest.

Holding on to her tightly,

I don't want to let her go.

I tell her she's a part of me,

filling up an empty hole.

She just smiles gently,

and gives my shirt a tug.

I whisper words so softly,

and snuggle her with my love.
