You’ve heard the infamous medicalquestion“On scale of one to ten-how bad is your pain?”Using the same scale-birth would be one- death -10Most of us up to a certainPoint would start this sentence - when the thought of the conversation came up-under normal conditionsIf I die- that would be a seven or seventyAfter that when I die would be moreappropriateGive or take some variation in age this is the mindset we all face and the implications that come with itIn the early years of maturity most of us wouldn’t even approach the topicIt just isn’t on our issue agendaAs we get closer to that scale sevenWhen I die would me more utilizedBeing eighty five this scale is a reality although I’m not trying to rush thingsThe train of thought gravitates to related issues and one thinks of reunions with lost family and friendsIn reflection I would not change much in my life but I wish as s young man I would have had more appreciation for the simpler things- those we take forgrantedOnce you’ve missed that opportunitythere’s no going backI now understand the meaning of“ Live Your Life “It was too late for meI hope it’s not too late for you
