But Where Was I Read Count : 130

The sunrise came up today
But where was I
The warmth of the morning begun
But I could not feel
A cool breeze brushed across the land
But I was numb
There was a mist in the air
But I faded with envy
A pack of wild horses run past like thunder
But I was trampled
The mud was cool and wet
But I was torn
The lay gave vision of the blue sky
But I could only see darkness
A warm hand touched
But I had only pain
The voice of an angel spoke
But I heard nothing
Wings began to embrace
But I was safe
