It was 1995 and I was in 5th grade when my elementary school decided to have the students write the schools address and some info about ourselves onto index cards. Once we done that we attached the cards to balloons and sent the balloons into the sky. Weeks later letters would start coming in addressed to the students. Most were pretty normal in nature about the person finding their balloon and where they found it. Plus, a few other things. When one came back addressed to me it was in a black envelope. The writing was calligraphy in style. I opened the already opened envelope to see who wrote to me.
Inside was a long letter. Maybe a story I dont know. But it
read:
Shelby ran away today. This is the second time she ran away. She use to be so well behaved. But the last few months she has been so... not herself. She's only 8 years old. She has always been hyper active, but always stayed near by. Never.been the one to go too far away from me. Always looking around as if there was something there that i wasn't seeing.
Do you believe in the paranormal? I think she sees things other people dont see.
