So my mother died on June 13th. Unlucky number 13..  

She had a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest. She was 64 years old. My dad died in 2008 and she did her best to hold everyone together. What a strong woman she was. 

I am doing my best to get on with working and my life in general. Everyone seems to move on and along and forget about you after a while. This prosbably isn't true but it feels like it. 

Facing the prospect of life at 27 without my parents is daunting but empowering too. 

I am sure in the knowledge that she would want me to not give up on life.
