Lover's lament


Upon falling star, one makes a wish. 
For the feeling of yesterday, we miss. 
Where intertwined we were in exotic bliss. 
Fire burning soul vexing, beginning with a kiss. 

Replaced by dull sorrowful ache, 
Tears falling for the anger we make. 
Pleading to our hearts forget, in its wake. 
Thus we continue for a dreams sake. 

Memories dusting and listing in heartaches wake. 
With venom fueled words my heart you did break. 
Leaving my heart open, bare and bleeding for you to take.
Not knowing that your love had all been faked.
