When Silence Reigns Read Count : 128

Where is that point when you have to stop, take a deep breath and collect all your thoughts?  Is it at night, when there's nary a sound?  Or at a certain moment when your life is crashing down?

What does it take to get you to rest, to get rid of the things that's been building on your chest?  Does it require a shock to your system?  Or your world crashing down in some cataclysm?

Why do you ask for death to come, when all you want to do is run?  What will it take for you to change your mind?  Do you really want to leave it all behind?

I know the pain when silence reigns.  When the words are there, but the tongue won't speak.  I know what it is to feel so meek.

The mental block that stops you cold, from saying the words that need be told.  Hearts are lost as feelings fade, tis the end, when silence reigns.
