I agree with you my friend SATANOPEDIALOGY but it is also true that developing an app is also not a easy task. As a developer you need to face lots of issues and sometimes solving it takes some time.
The issue with the app is occurring due to certain faulty codes in the html coding of this app. I believe that if the software coding is done after throughly checking the requirements that a developer needs from the app which he wants to reward it to his writers, like adding the video effects of the ad as shown in YouTube and other apps are all part of the coding and a good software engineer should definitely know how to build it. 
Writer's outlet app uses simple html codings with basic java and I guess when I was in the coding department c# was the mother developed from c language, now it is 15 yrs, since I have left that field and I guess it is very simple issue but for others it is a bothering one. Anyhow if the coding is rewritten according to the occurring problem the issue would get solved soon and anyhow Jared you have developed a nice app. Congrats.
