When we’re young, we see the world as a place of hopes and dreams
We look to the future and imagine success and life of satisfaction
However, as we age, reality begins to set in
We realize that people aren’t as good as they seem
What’s right and wrong is more fuzzy than black and white
The good guy hardly ever wins outside a movie screen
Stress is life
And everyone wants something from you

Where is the fairy tale ending for the person who suffers tragedy in life?
Their magic wand sprinkles a daily dose of disappointment upon them
Such is life
