     Everyone on Earth has looked up at night and gazed at the moon. But in the minds of the majority, there's never much thought places onto the moon. Not even the anomaly that we only see one side of the moon, and never the infamous "Dark Side" of it. You want to know something else? We actually don't know shit about our moon. Not even our glorious scientists that society has placed high up on the totem pole. Hell, based on what we do know, it doesn't even belong to us.
     The Apollo missions and subsequent moon landings have been at the center of controversy and conspiracy for years. People are still debating whether or not we actually landed on the moon. Along with, what was found there, and to what extent NASA has been hiding information from us. But amid the arguments, the number of anomalies pertaining to the moon continues to keep scientists and conspiracy theorists alike puzzled. 
     Among the later Apollo missions, NASA astronauts placed seismic recording devices on the moon's surface to document artificial and natural moonquakes. Their equipment recorded activity ranging from meteorite strikes, to artificial explosions, and crash landings of Apollo rockets. 
     The astronauts were given a series of ALSEPs, or Apollo Lunar Surface Experiment Packages to set up seismographs and initiate detonations ranging from mere shotgun-like charges, to mortars with multiple grenades. Eventually NASA intentionally crash-landed the Apollo 12 module as well as the S-IVB rocket, which set off an enormous force equalling nearly 12 tons of TNT.
     They found that the moon is indeed hollow, ringing like a bell, with reverberations sometimes lasting for hours at a time.
     Another mystery of our Moon is its size compared to Earth. Of all the moons in the solar system, ours is the 5th largest. No other planet that we’re aware of has a moon that is as proportionately big as ours, being one-quarter the size of Earth. All other planets with moons that size are massive gas giants. Neptune, the closest in size with a moon that big, is four times the size of Earth.
     After NASA conducted certain tests, they found that the moon has a similar composition to our planet, although significantly less dense, with a 31-mile crust of mineral plagioclase, a mantle of olivine and pyroxene, and a very small core of Iron and Sulphur. But when the Apollo astronauts first landed on the moon, they had difficulty drilling into the surface of the craters. 
     When the astronauts attempted to drill into the craters, they were barely able to penetrate the surface, discovering processed metals like brass, mica, and pure titanium.
     In 1970, two Soviet astronomers had theorized that it was likely that the moon has been put in place by a highly-advanced extraterrestrial race. Their theory was based on observable anomalies, claiming the Moon was an artificial shell that had been inhabited for years. 
     While it might seem farfetched that we are being surveilled by an extraterrestrial race on the moon, or that a hollow Moon may have been intentionally placed in Earth’s orbit as a secret moon base, there are still many more mysteries concerning its relationship with Earth. 
     Going back into ancient civilizations, there many odd tales and cultural stories that talk about an egg being hollowed out and rolled across the sky, and some of the descriptions are eerily similar to the description of our Moon. 
     Zulu Shaman, Credo Mutwa said that Zulu legends believe the moon to be hollow and the home of the Python or hitauri or as David Icke calls them the "Reptilians”, a race of intelligent extraterrestrials. The legend states that the moon was brought here hundreds of generations ago by two brothers, Enki and Enlil, who were the leaders of these Reptilian extraterrestrials.
     "These two were known as the water brothers and they both had scaly skin like a fish. This tale is very similar to the Mesopotamia and Sumerian accounts about the two chief leader brothers Enlil and Enki, (Lords of the Earth). 
     "Credo continues telling the Zulu legends of how Wowane and Mpanku stole the moon in the form of an egg from the 'Great Fire Dragon,' and emptied out the yolk until it was hollow. Then they rolled the moon across the sky to the Earth which brought about cataclysmic events on this planet that ended the 'Golden Age' of the past."
     Credo Mutwa claims that the Earth was very different back before the moon had arrived. There weren’t any seasons and the planet was engulfed by a canopy of water vapor. Nobody felt the strong glare of the Sun that we do now, and people could only see it through a watery mist. 
     Earth was once a beautiful, lovely place; lush and green with giant Redwoods, Violets and Ferns with a gentle drizzle and mist. But when the moon was placed in the Earth's orbit, the water canopy fell to the Earth as a cataclysm of rain—This is symbolized in the Bible when it rains for 40 days and 40 nights.
     The arrival of the moon and the Reptilians changed everything on Earth. It modified the Earth’s rotation and angle. The earth turned over on its axis leaving it upside down, as the legend says. This brought more powerful tidal systems that once had been much calmer. The women also did not menstruate before its arrival. .
     Zulus and other native African legends say the moon was built far away to keep an eye on people, also as a vehicle to travel the Universe. Credo says that it is the Reptilians “Giant Mother-ship” and that’s where they escaped during the cataclysms of the “Great Flood,” which they had caused by manipulating it and creating other cosmic events.
A planet of our size with such a low gravitational field shouldn’t have such a big Moon. 


     To this day, there are several theories that attempt to explain how the Moon ended up orbiting our planet. Gaia.com states:
     "Without the moon orbiting precisely where it is, it’s possible that life on Earth wouldn’t exist, or at least wouldn’t have evolved to the point that it has. In fact, it is estimated that less than 10 percent of all terrestrial planets in the universe have an Earth to moon ratio like ours, which provides the stability that is necessary to maintain a climate that can harbor life.
     "The size of the moon is such that it affects our axial tilt, or the way that the Earth wobbles on its axis, changing by a single degree over the course of thousands of years. This relegation to one degree of movement is necessary for climatic stability; without the moon’s balance, the Earth could tilt as much as 85 degrees every million years or so, causing drastic changes. This would adjust the orientation of the Earth to the Sun so significantly that the Sun would shift to be situated directly over the poles rather than the equator where it currently is. Life could not evolve during such radical shifts."
     If the precise and stationary orbit of the moon is seen as nothing but sheer coincidence, then is it also a coincidence that it is at just the right distance from the Earth to completely cover the Sun during an eclipse? While the diameter of the moon is a mere 2,160 miles against the Sun’s gigantic 864,000 miles, it is nevertheless in just the right position to block out all but the Sun’s flaming corona when it moves between the Sun and the Earth. 
     Asimov explained: “There is no astronomical reason why the moon and the Sun should fit so well. It is the sheerest of coincidences, and only the Earth among all the planets is blessed in this fashion."
     Remember this next time you look up at that giant rock orbiting around our planet. There may be something else staring back.
