It is like a merry go roundWe hope as we spin aroundWe try to grab the “merry “Wherever it is foundWe can go for weeks- months or years reaching for that brass ringWhen it’s finally oursWe can hear our happy heart singThis is no allusionJust another phase of lifeA greatful grand conclusionTo get away from strifeSometimes it does not lastYet- you’ve got to give it a tryFrom lessons of the pastYou can kiss the gloom goodbyeThere’s always risk in tryingA new relationshipWhen your social life is dyingIt’s pays to take the tripThat ring can be elusiveBut if you hopefully connectThe tale could be conclusiveIf you find what you expect
