Don’t look nothing is there
But I can’t bare the sound of whispers
The blanket is shielding me
Knocking on the walls
They’re beckoning me to come
Swaying the door
So I know that they’re here
Leaving scratch marks
To remind me they’re near
But how do I know they’re real
I haven’t peaked
Could my mind play tricks on me
What am I afraid of?
Nothing
It’s only in my mind
