I got to see my friend today. A joyous occasion, his wedding day.
Not the typical ceremony, nothing fancy.
Just some friends and family.
The ceremony was simple and short.
The kids singing and dancing and being good sports.
The bride looked lovely in her dress with boots. My friend stood with her in his khaki shorts and tennis shoes. I smile at how they look so different, but how they are also a perfect fit.
I wish them the best and for many years to come. For peace and joy and lots of fun.
