I’m sorry that I don’t miss you in the way I thought I would.
I’m sorry that I don’t grieve you in the way I think should.

But I do remember.
I do remember the sound of your voice. 
I do remember the feel of holding your hand & your scent when I kissed your head. 
If I close my eyes I can still see you clearly, every wrinkle and every freckle.
I remember exactly how it felt to be held by you, 
I recall conversations, words and inspirations.
I can still feel what it’s like to be loved by you.

So although I’m not overwhelmed with sadness & I don’t feel the pain each day.
I still remember all of you and that never fades away.
