It was just a little too hot to be cold.
Spent most of days under the Vegas sun.
Mama said I'll go broke living life on the road.
Seeing a woman that I put second to none.
I love too hard, I be asking for trouble.
Soulmates never seem to last.
Gone are the days of being young and reckless,
My heart doesn't heal as fast.
Time moves at a pace it didn't before.
It doesn't wait for me to catch up.
These bills might feel like chores
But them due dates are only getting more abrupt.
I wish knew what to do with my degree.
I wish I didn't work to be broke.
I wish I knew what the Lord has for me.
I wish I knew how to adult.
I wish someone would call me “baby.”
I wish I could be more frugal.
I wish my job will leave me be.
I wish I wasn't stuck on neutral
