Its' rightly said,It's not the weight that wears you down,it's the way you carry it.

No human can proclaim leading a stressfree life.

Stress is nothing but our reaction to inconvenient situations causing distress and irritability.Situations that we have have no control over, but our reaction to it is solely in our hands.

Panic-stricken mind will never yield efficient solutions. Our anxiety does not come.from thinking about the future, but thinking about our inability to control it.

A calm mind is the ultimate weapon to face any challenges. But how to achieve it has always been an enigma to me.

Facing a few challenges in life myself,i have been groping to find means to calm my turbulent mind.I stumbled upon Isha Kriya on You Tube channel by chance and devoid of any better alternative,I decided to give it a try.

So i sat in a crosslegged position and concentrated on my breathing chanting," You are not the body "during inhalation and "You are not even the mind "while exhaling..Doing this for a few minutes calmed me temporarily and the realisation dawned upon me that even though i have been breathing all my life for survival i have been doing it wrong all the way.

The next few minutes i spent uttering Aaaaaaaaa loudly and though i am un aware of the reason,i suddenly felt phlegm gathering in my throat.I am just assuming it must the the toxins trying to get released .The last few minutes I spent feeling relaxed closing my eyes while hearing some mantras which quite frankly I couldn't understand but had a calming effect on me.

I am not saying I have changed or m stressfree.I am not even confident about how often I will be doing it as during depression,we need motivation to even rise from the bed,but I know for sure that it works..

All I need to do is stay motivated and be consistent in doing this ...
