The death of a neighborhood fourteen year old is not earth shattering news
Except for family and friends 

The issue that this suicide symbolizes an issue that existed for centuries disguised as “kids acting out-feeling their oats”etc.

We now know with knowledge and history and the even writings of victims in our WO Community the impact on any target of this verbal bullying 
Some more vulnerable have had damaging repercussions from these incidents and all victims have been affected in various ways 

Most of us as young children through high school have been participants 
I know that I have and in retrospect 
realize the foolish immaturity solely to be accepted -that may have caused damage to the targets

I also have been on the receiving end of this “innocent “ kids talk
I have been told by experts as well as victims in counseling that a joke is not a joke if it offensive to that person
A guideline for all of us to remember 
A lesson to be taught to all as well

This issue is not going away but awareness-honest evaluation and increased therapy support can reduce 
dramatically the damage as well as give victims an opportunity to deal with their issues to enhance their quality of life
