Chapter 1
i have been affraid of hights since i was little, i decided i would go out onto my third floor balcony to enjoy some fresh air this early night. i started watching the sunset when i noticed how beautiful the stars started to shine. I could also see the reflection of the sunset off lake erie. taking in deep breaths, i slowly made my way to the edge to see mor, i then decided to be brave and look over the edge just a little bit. thinking maybe if i can look over, my fers would end.


but it didnt work the way i had planned. i felt what can only be described to you as vertigo and i freaked out. i backed up to the wall near the door of the balcony and sat down. maybe one day i will let fear win. as i started to relax i herd a noise, it was my friend Conner coming up to check on me like always. “hay are you okay?” i shook my head yes. “how many times are you going to try and fix something that might no be able to be fixed?” i looked up at the sky and started to ignore him. “you know if you used the same determination in your artwork as you do trying to concure your fear you might actually pass yourself off as a actual artist.”


i smiled at him,” now whhy would i do that when i have a friend like you, who would pay for my art even if it looked like a baby drew it. we both gave a small laugh. he was at least fve foot eight and he always wore a suit. he had a metal cane that supported a lazy leg. i remember when he used to have to walk around with a crutch for a week.


when his cane finally came he showed it off like it was a new gift. he even got a metal dragon place on top as a handle. in the mouth of the dragon was a custom fit moon stone. i always thought it was like the game dugeon and dragons, which i thought was cheest but he loves it . he would even try to chase me around the house with it sometimes acting like a old man waving it around.


we have been friends since collage and he always looked after me like a older brother. my parents came one year and they fell in love with him. i remeber when we meet i painted a picture of a man in a coffee shop for six hours as i had just finished the small painting and turned toward the counter when they called my number he had just grazed his arm against me causeing me to draw a mustash on the drawing that stretched from ear to ear.


Chapter 2
he apologised what had to be for thirty minute and i told him it was alright he glanced at the drawing and smiled, “well now he can say he really grew some hair somewhere. i smiled and grabbed my coffee. he asked me if he could pay for another cup of coffee and after much debate i finally said yes.


we must have talked for hours.” why are you painting in a coffee shop anyway? “trying to earn a little more money to by a house.” he shook his head back and forth. now see that does it. i feel bad now and he started to smile. he reached 6+5into a pocket and pulled out his wallet, then pulled out a fifty dollar bill.


i shook my head no,“thanks but i couldnt let you do that.” he laughed “listen i like art and i want that painting cause its special and it so happens i am looking for someone to buy my house.” i started to back away. ” if you accept i would like to help you get your dream house and all i ask is for you to be kind to it. “how much for this house?”


“one hundred and sixty thousand dollars or you can rent to own a room, stay with me. “honestly the price is out of my range. but if you are willing to rent to own i accept. i smiled and handed him the painting. “why is that painting so special?”


he said it is to help us remember how we first became friends. after a month of trying to make a living, christmas had come around and mom loved everything and was happy that i was happy. the day after christmas Conner’s father came. it was probably the first time i saw him look real serious.


Chapter 3
his father was a older gentlemen that looked alot like Conner. he even wore a suit like he does. at dinner the house was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. “so father where is mother?” he sat back in the seat a little as if that question was insulting to him.


she decided my money and alfa status wasnt enough and left.” a shocked look came across Conners fave as i was trying to piece what he just said together. “i think you and me should disscuss this in private please.” then they both stood up and went into a small study room. when they came back his father went straight for the door and left.


Conner then seemed to turn back into his normal self which lifted the mood in the house a lot. that was when i knew i need to show support. i lookedat him and gave him a hug. i looked up after a few minutes and saw an exspression of shock and wounder. i then let go and started walking to the kitchen.


he then followed me carrying the dinner dishes. i smiled as he made a joke about my mom showing him a mini album with baby pictures. “i can’t believe she is still carrying them around.” he started laughing. i rolled my eyes and looked at him again. “well now that ya’ll are friends i think she can come more often.” a smirk came across his face like he was the cheerist person in the room.


time then past from winter to summer and our friendship is now the best i ever had. now that i thought about it we have been friends now for four years. but once in a while he dissapears for about a weak or two. i asked him about it one time but he said he had to deal with the family. i then asked if he was going to invite them to my birthday tomorrow?


Chapter4
looking at our calander he started to frown and said he and his family had something important they had to do. i nooded my head and gave a pollite smile, ’thats okay i hope everything goes well. “then i watched him leave the room. i glared at the sky once more then got up and went inside my room to get ready for bed. “maybe one day my life will change and i can have an adventure one day.


when i woke up i found Conner hovering over my bed with a tray of breakfast and coffee. “good morning.” i smiled and sat up to enjoy the meal he brought. thank you this is a nice birthday present. will you be eating with me before you leave?” “he gave me a big smile and as he grabbed a slice of bacon off my plate said.


actually im not going i talked to them and they semm to have it all under control.” i gave a face of delight that changed to sorrow. im sorry if i caused any inconviniance or trouble.” he bgrabbed my hand, “their was no trouble i would rather spend my time with you then with them. he raised hi hand and placed it under my chin. just do me a important favor.


i nodded with excitement at what was going to be said. i have to do something in the basement tonight and i need you to never go down their no matter what you hear. i agreed and after that we had a whole day of fun we went to the mall and bought a few gifts. then went to the movies before returning home.


this was the best birthday ever thanks Conner. i gave his arm a big hug in excitment. he grinned so big it had to have been able to reach from on ear to the other. we then sat in the livingroom and ate popcorn till Conner noticed it was getting dark. “i have to start working on that project.


Chapter 5
im happy you had fun, ill see you in the morning and i made you something in your room. i gave a big excited smile, “thanks for everything.” i went to go upstairs while Conner went down into the basement but then the doorbell rang. i stopped at the stairs and then went to the door. i wounder who that could be this late at night. i opened the door and saw it was his father.


hi sir, please come in and have a seat. we then went into the livingroom i called out for Conner which usually worked after thirty minutes his dad started staring at me. “where is my son?” “he went to work on a project downstairs, it’s odd though that he is not answering.”


your wrist cuffs they are moon stones are they not?” he looked down and grabbed his sleeve, impressed i knew what kind of stone they were. “yes, its a family stone.” we then started heading down to the basement when i went to turn the nob and found i couldnt open the dorr. “i don’t know why he would lock the door.”


i knocked and a bunch of things sounded like they got knocked over. i pulled out a set of keys and went to unlock the door when he stopped me and asked to do it himself. i smiled and handed him the keys. as he slowly opened the door a growl came from inside the room then without warning a giant wolf like creature jumped forward at us.


i screamed for Conner in hopes that he was alright but never recieved an answer. the wolf then looked at me and staired into my eyes. the beast became somewhat calm as we glared into each others eyes. “Conner?” i have a look of fright. he turned shining and ran back into the room.


Chapter 6
his father then shut the door and locked it. “did he hurt you anywhere at all?” “i came out of shock. “no that was. that was. Conner! he’s a werewolf!” his dad then grabbed me in a supportive way and led her upstairs. “he didnt want you to find out this way.”


he gave me the key back and i noticed it had the same stone and was made of silver after a extreme check he stood up and walked over to the other couch. “your birthday was today was it not?” did he not give you your present. “i looked up at him and then started up the stairs. he just told me a few minutes before you came that he left me a gift and that he had a project downstairs all night.”


i started to cry,“this is all my fault, his father bent down on his kne. i ggave a look of horror. “oh my god im so sorry i asked him to celebrate my birthday with me and i felt sad he couldnt so he surprissed me by staying.”


“which is why he should of gave you your gift early why dont you go and open it now.” i slowly stood up and walked up the stairs to my room. as i stepped into my bedroom and saw a small box on my bed. i went over to my bed and started to sit down. i slowly opened it and inside was a beautiful necklace made of silver.


i went to put it on when Conner’s dad came over to my bed and said, “dont put it on unless you are ready for a comitment of a lifetime.” i took a deep breath and said,” for Conner anything.” i looked at Conner’s dad, “how come this has not happened before?” “the moon stones help us channel our energy. we dont need to change when our stones are with us and apperently he has something special up his sleeve, of what i do not know.”


Chapter 7
so what happened to Conner’s stone after five years the moon stone gathers so much energy from that it cant handle it and it can ether be cleansed or it can break. ” he leaned off towards the basement door. ” we have certain people that agree to cleanse our stones so we don’t attack people. last night was suppose to be Conner’s time for cleansing.”


“what do we do now?” “their is two thins, one we can wait and pray he can change back to normal in the morning.” i waited for a few minutes then asked. “what is the other way? please he needs help?” he lowered his head and fidgeted with his cuffs again.


“he clearly has a foundness for you.′ i lowered my hand a nurveously tucked my hair behind my ears. “if you truly wish to save him we can get a temperary moon stone but to get it near him at this state will be hard. “i’ll do it, after all this is all my fault.”


“you do understand as a mortal, this plan goes wrong you could be killed?” i didnt even hasitate i just held out my hand for the new stone and waited. he handed me a small moon stone out of his pocket.“it was meant for a child recently born but i can deliver another one after.”


I grabbed it and started walking towards the basement door. “oh yeah almost forgot you have to put it in his mouth.” i turned and started at him in annoyance from the lack of information. he just shook off the look and sat down on the couch. i opened the door and managed to look inside.


Chapter 8
Conner was crouched in a corner with his back arched upwards. i slowly walked in and shut the door behind me. “Conner i am so sorry about all this. i want to help.” he growled at me and watched my every move. i slowly walked up to him and managed to get against the wall next to him.


i looked into his eyes again and he calmed down. a tear came down my cheek “if their was aanyway i could fix what i did.” he came closer and looked at me then saw the necklace and started liking the tears away till i smiled and started to pet him. as he started licking the back of my hand i turned it and opened my palm so he could lick up the stone. at first he got mad and barked at me.


but then he just walked wawy and relaxed down in the corner. i could have left but decided to stay the whole night. i saw a old blanket up taht was on a shelf in a box. i took it down and used it as a bed. after a while i fell asleep on the cold floor.


i didnt even feel Conner come up beside me and lay down, placing his head on my shoulder and keeping me warm humming came and when i woke up i found Conner as a human sleeping next to me naked and then his hand was wrapped around me and his front held lightly to somethin. he then woke and spotted his hand and their was a cracked moon stone.” i could have killed you last night why would you pull a stupid stunt like that?


i would do anything for my friend. “can you please put your flashlight away. “he turned beat red and covered everything with his hand.


Chapter 9
i quickly got up and handed him the old blanket and turned to face away from him. after a few minutes `i felt a hand touch my arms, then my waist.i tensed up and turned to face him Behind me staring slowly into his eyes. the intense feeling was as if he was lrying to see into my soul. i went to turn back when he stopped me and gave me a hug, “thank you.
“what are friends for Conner.” 


we smiled at each other until his father came down from upstairs. “honestly Conner i would have thought you would have delt with all this better.” he looked slightly down and started to walk upstairs.
we then started to walk up after him. after waiting a few minutes Conner came in the livingroom` and sat down.` 


“why did you never tell me your a werewolf?” he glared slightly at his father. “its complicated to explain the reason right now. “well Conner i will call you and tell you when your next clensing is?” we fell silent as his dad left the home. 


he glanced at me and i must of had a freaked out expression on my face cause he imedialty got up when i did and tried to confrot me. “please i just need some time to process this whole thing.” i then backed up, turned and started heading upstairs to my room. i was honestly a little freaked out because for the last four years now i have been living with a person that could have bit my head off. i was mad he didnt tell me sooner but then again would i have really believed him or called the mental institution.


 then i became sad that he had to deal with all these problems secretly for this whole time. about lunch time came and i herd Conner knock on my door.
“please im sorry, will you let me in and talk to me?” i staid quiet and listened to him apologisea few more times till he gave up and left away from the door. i know i couldnt hide in the room forever out i didnt knnow if i was really ready to face him.


Chapter 10
 i grabbed the handle of the door and took a deep breath. i opened the door and saw the hall was empty so i started to walk down the stairs and into our livingroom. he was sitting with a look of wounder on his face, almost like he was trying to figure out where he had messed up. he looked at me and restrained himself from standing up and ambushing me. “are their other types of beings and does the monster mash song i play every halloween insult you?”


 he burst out in an uncontrollable laughter. “out of everything that has happened, thos are the things you are worried about.” i gave a uncertain smile. “no the song is fine. yes, their are other kinds of beings.


 “i gave a small worried look and he moved slightly closer. “we unsually dont tell mortals about us and im afraid i might of put you in a lot of danger.” i started looking around the room. he then lend his hand toward the couch as to telepathically usher me to sit down i uneasly sat and waited for more of an explanation. “so my dad explained what our stones do right?” 


i nodded my head, well each species of beings a different color stone that chooses them. their is red for arabians, silver for nothern rocky, green for indian, blue for artic, and blue for the steppe.” i stopped him for a moment, “what do you mean choose you?” “i mean if the stone chooses the people then why isnt their more beings? “he went over to the bookshelf and pulled a small book off the shelf. ” 


Chapter 11
along time ago their was a mine that was ran by a great and ancient dragon.” he started flipping through pages till he showed me a picture of a dragon with a kind of fairy looking person.” he would dig out and smooth the stones with care and love then give it to Gia to bless and give the stones left to choose who it wishes to help.” he closed the book and placed it baack on the shelf. “along time ago their were rumors that humans were given a purple stone to help even the beings powers to their own.


 “he gave a sigh ,” but as all stories have it one human became greedy with power and not only slayed the dragon and Gia but he distryed the mine so that no one could have power but him.”
he came and sat back down, “they say because of this pursuit of greed Gia cursed all human stones turned to sand. ” i started thinkingabout the story and how i abtained to it. “the only reason a being would ever introduce themselves to a human is their to kill them or cause they mean something to us. “my eyes opened wide, we then saw my necklace glow. a bang came from the roof.


“what was that? it sounded like it came from the balcony. “he got up and headed upstairs. i stayed in the livingroom. the house fell silent and i stairedup at the roof.


“I hope im not interupting something but i just dropped in for a bite.” i quickly looked to the side of me where a tall man with pale skin was standing. he started to walk towards me and i ran to the kitchen. “umm, fast food come out little girl i need a drink. “i grabbed a small frying pan and hid in the pantry.


“eww dog smell i hate dogs, havent you got frabreeze? “he gave a small chuckle, “you know i like this place, i think we will hang for a short time before i have to go.” he then slammed the door to the pantry wide open and as i got started i slammed the frying pan over his head and broke it. he started coming closer with a pierced look on his face. “Conner help!” 


Chapter 12
he started holding me against the pantry shelf.
he then bit me and got a horrible look, “blah dog blood, ” Conner then showed up and threw him off me. “so this is your pet you were hiding.” Conner started to growl and change, “leave my house, she is protected by the sangria wolf clan. find dinner some place else!” 


the vampire bared his fangs and looked deeply at me and started to feel dizzy. as i sat on the sinks counter i could see Conner changing almost completly bue to him messing with me.
i sled to the floor in a foggy daze. Conner was so angry he had fully changed and went after this man. they started to fight as he was trying to check on my also. 


after a few minustes of fighting in the livingroom i struggled and started to stand up. i got to the livingroom and grabbed Conner around the waist.
“Please come back Conner dont be this beast he wants you to be.” a calmness fell across his face and i thought i made it through to him like lost time. “stupid girl get out of their!”


 i looked up and his face had reverted back and he swung his claw if this man had not used his fast speed i probably would of died. Conner then realized what he had done and ran out the home howling.” i have to go help him.” “the mna grabbed my arm and sat down with me. if he loves you as much as he is showing hell be back, besides if we dont fix that arm he will never fergive himsel. 


i looke at him in confusion.“your helping me, why are you doing this?” he cleaned and wrapped up my arm. “you remind me of someone close.” i thanked him and we silently started cleaning up the mess they made. 


Chapter 13
after hours later Conner came through the door exhausted. he came over to me and gave me a big hug then looked me over, probably for bites, his eyes then stopped at the bandage across my arm. i pulled back my arm, “it looks worse then it is.” he looked over at the many “leave my house now.” the man gave a smile, “chill out puppy dog, beside she is allowing me to stay.”


Conner in shocked looked at me and i looked shocked right back and shook my head. he then started to growl. “hold on their night hound you wouldnt want to hurt your girlfriend would you?” i looked away and then looked over at the man. “what did you mean about my blood.”


he grabbed my hand, smiled and looked over at Conner. “my name is Mark and i came to share a great experiance with you.” yeah well you can go find someone else. “i admit at first you were only food but now its diferent.” “well the answer is still no!


he gave a smerk,” i think you will change your mind soon.” i looked at him confused and his smile grew. oh so you havent told her what happens if she refuses your hand?” i looked at Conner, “what is Mark talking about? no one has asked me anything.”


i pushed past Conner and started to escort Mark to one of our spare rooms but stopped in front of the staircase. “Conner when you feel you can tell me whatever this big talk is i’ll be in my room.” i then started up the staircase. i stopped at the linen closet and pulled out a bedsheet, a pillowcase, a blanket, a towel and a hand towel then walked to another door. “this will be your room for the time you visit.”


Chapter 14
he gave me a smile, “are you going to join me for a nice shower or perhaps a tuck in.” “never, i might not be with Conner but it doesnt mean you have earned a spot in my heart!” i then handed the items from the linon closet and started heading up my flight of stairs. i must have been in my room for at least a few hours when Conner knocked on my door. i opened the door and let him into my room.


“i guess we have to talk about this important information.” i nodded and started looking at the floor. “their is no easy way to say this. “dont know what caused me to seek you out all those years ago but i did and i cant stop these feelings.
he took a deep breath, “i would love to share my world but their is a problem.


 if you say no to the ceremony the clans leader will come and place judgemnet. i started to breath heavy and look around the room. “so i now have to get married or i could die.” he staid quiet till i calmed down.“how long do i have before i have to come up and down. “


will you please leave, this is a really big decissoinand i want to think about it for a few.”
Conner nodded and walked outside the door. i had so many things running through my head i almost wanted to cry. how could he put me in this perdicument? i was just about to burst out in tears when i herd a noise on my balcony.


 i got up and slowly went to the balcony door.
a silluette of someone was their and i then herd Marks voice. “please let me in so we can talk.” “what more could you do that you havent done/” i then went to the door and when i opened it Mark was not their. “who are you?”


Chapter 15
a hooded figure was outside my balcony door. “who are you, what do you want?” the hooded figure first gave me a smile and as i tried to shut the door he threw it open. i screamed and as Mark and Conner came in the hooded figure grabbed me and took off. Conner and Mark tried to save me but the figure evaded them two miles away from the next town.


“let me go or ill hurt you!” as he started walking down the road i could hear him laugh at me. i managed to get close to him and bite his ear. he dropped me and got mad. as he came towards me voices came from the woods.


“that’s enough, go patrol the area!” he then left and a women emerged in a grey flowing dress. “i’m sorry for this but i had to see the girl who survived a werewolf attack. “i staid quiet and watched her circle me. “im just lucky i guess.”


“yes, well a extrdinary girl like you would be a fine bride to the artic tribe.” i sighed an exhausting sigh, “what is it with everyone wanting to marry me.” “Cause you are of one of us and our strong magic runs purly through your veins.” i kept thinking how she was not the first to mention it. i inderstand the wolves coming after me, but why a vamprie?”


she sniggered, “for domination of both species, once every century a group gets the ides of trying to make a high bred.” we herd a howl and looked in that direction. “if you want to be safe come with us and meet your family.” i hesitated but agreed with everything going on being out in the open was foolish. the guy that grabbed me melt down so i could mount his back.


the speed they could run was like being on a speed boat. Tree’s rustling as we past sounded like waves hiting the beach. a few hours later and we reached Canada. we started to slow down till we reached a cave. “sorry if i offend you but isnt a cave a little clechae to wolves?”


“if you were a normal wolf yes but we took it a step further. “we walked a little ways back into the cave and came across a small village. “it was surrounded by wy white wolves,grey wolves, but no humans. “a brown woulf started walking up to the artic tribe.”
i thanked him and the other wolves. 


Chapter 16
“were are all the humans?” the man smiled, we stay in our wolf form till human form is needed.” i looked around in amazement. ” Niaya will show you around and give you a room. She brought me to a entry were a man prepared fresh rabbit for their dinner.


 as we went into a different area she noticed i was shivering so we stopped in another hut and got a fur coat to wrap up in. then back in a small hut hay spilling out was a hut for all their cubs. “this is beautiful and cozy but where are all the women?” she smiled, all the women are in a town two days away.” i looked at a hut infront of us and said, “why have we stopped here?” 


she gave a smile, “this is your hut.” we walked inside were it became warm and felt homie. “the alpha will be here to talk in a bit about the marrage.” i turned and she was gone so i frustratidly sat down and waited to explain how i was not going to get married. after a hour of waiting the alpha finally came in the hut. 


“i hope this is no inconvieniance to you, i just thought i could give my gift to you before the other clans do.” i looked around surprised.” what do you mean gift, your not trying to marry me?” he looked surprised, “i’m sorry for any missleading we might have. given you but i wouldn’t ruin our packed with the other clans.”


he then showed a beautiful box made from ice. “thank you but like i told Niaya i have never been asked to get married.” “but the northern rocky alpha said his son found a suiter.” “well i have never met this rocky alpha’s son. ” he gave a kind smile and handed me the box.


Chapter 17
“well i think this will still help you while your here.” i then opene the box and inside was a beautiful fur cloak.” thank you its very beautiful.” i started putting it on and started to hear tons of camotion.“what’s going on outside.”


he put his hands up to gesture me to stay inside. after a few seconds i could hear the voices go from muzzles to clear. i walked outside and saw Conner and Mark. “Conner, Mark, i didn’t think you were going to be able to find me!” “so your okay and not mad at me.”


i wasnt mad to start with, i just wish you told me instead of your father.” he then came over and gave me a hug. the artic alpha came over to us. “Miss i thought you didnt know the prince?” “I looked at the alpha then at Conner. Conner gave a awkward smile. 


“why do they think you proposed to me?” “i was going to ask you when i gave you the necklace but i didn’t get a chance.My father took it upon himself to do it for me.” “but people usually give a regular proposale.” “true but its a little hard to wear a ring when you turn to a wolf."


 "i would explained to you that your promissary keepsake would be anything that can hold your stone.” i then looked at my necklace, it was silver and had a shape of a sleeping dragon. i then saw small circular shape infront of the dragons head being held by a clan. it was so beautiful, i then realized their was no stone. “your father told me that if i put it on i was making a comitmentof a life time i didnt know he meant marraige!” 


Chapter 18
Conner looked dissapointed that i would reject the idea. Conner started to walk away towards the cave entrance. “Conner i would love to mary you!” “Conner turned to me, “dont say it unless you mean it.” i gave a smile, “i mean it!” 


a smile came across his face as he came over and lifted me into the air. “i just need to do one thing.” i went over to the alpha, “how do you hear about your bloodline?” everyone looked around at each other, “you would have to see the angakhuq, or what humans call shamen.” “where do we find this shamen?” 
 
they siad she was with the arabian clan. we got out of the cave and reached New York that night. i got off Conner’s back and we started to walk. “lets find a hotel and go to arabia in the morning.” Conner stopped and watched me continue walking till i saw him stop then i did.


“why can’t we just go home, we have a wedding to plan.” i walked to him, “cause i have to see the shamen!” “but why is this shamen so important!” “then Mark tried to enter his input of going home and dealing with a wedding to him. “by dout!” 


we yelled, “first you hate him and now your on his side!” he sighed and looked away. “mark said i tasted like you and the artic clan seemed to think i was a wolf too.” i gave a big sigh and looked around. “if my mom knew she would have told me and my father split when i was young.”


Chapter19
He gave me a hug, “lets go tomorrow and plan from their to be honest i don’t know were to find the clan.” he found a hotel close to the airport and that morning he made resurection on the egyptian from TFH to med airport. “okay our plane leaves at three o’clock. we decided to take in some New York sites till it was time. we then found a small pizza joint for lunch and while we ate Conner left to take a call outside.


“my father said the wedding has to be in a few days.” i started to panic, “how can we do that and go over seas?” Conner then gave a smile. “well fortunate for us part of the ritual is all alphas must come to present a gift so i told him we were are going to see them to recieve our gifts instead.” i gave a smile “but now we have to visit the indian clan and my clan were my father will be waiting.


three o’clock came and we boarded the plane. it took three hours to reach arabia. when we got their we booked a room for two days at zanzan madina. we relaxed that night and started our journey the next morning. “where do we go from here Conner?”


he looked around and found a post card of madam salen. it took us a while but we finally got their. we waited till people were goen then went into a foom in the temple. near a wall was a old ceramic pot that was filled with coins. “what are we doing this is justa dead end.”


he got close to they wall and blew on it. all the dust and dirt flew off the wall and a small slot appeared. “we need to find a coin with a jackle on it.” we then started digging in the pot. “why a jackle and not just a dog?”


Chapter 20
Conner stopped digging when he pulled it out of the pile. “Cause the jackle was actually the first werewolf on earth.” he stuck it in the slot, looked at us and smiled. the wall then went up and we watched as rows of torches light up. a look of wounder came over my face. 


“and we haven’t even seen the dens.” we must of went twenty smiles deep it felt like. “when Conner i think you shoult stop.” he turned to ask me why. but was shocked to see people in golden jackle masks holding knives against our throats. 


“let them go or deal with the northern rocky clan.”
a jackle with green on its mask to revial a woman. “mom what are you doing here? this is where you have been.” she looked at the others who loward their weapons. 


then she started smiling at me. “so you are the lucky girl everyones been talking about.” i gave a smile, ” are you going to ignore me.” she continued to look at me, “no darliing but when are you going to realize what a diamond you have found in the rough.” i started to look confused.


“please why are people so fixed on me, why am i so special?” she then started walking away toward her son. “you are going to be having a serious chat later.” they then started to walk down the hall. then before our eyes a beautiful city apeared like as if we went through a viel.”


Chapter 21
his mom gave us a room. “ill be right back after i talk to my mom.” i nodded my head and looked around. in the middle of the room was a queen size bed with white cotton blankets and white satin pillows. in the corner was a fountain to bathe in and a door which led to a toilet.


i turned and faced the door when i herd rustling outside. his mother then came inside and sat on the bed with a gift. “this tribe is ont of the most purest of them all.” she then handed me a clay water pitcher no bigger then a cup. “our greatest treasure this cup never stops filling, its the creature of oceans and lakes, it even made the nile river.”


i looked inside the pitcher and was shocked to watch it start filling up. i then looked at her, “thank you i love it but wont you need it here incase of a water strategy.” she looked at her son and then back to me. ’how much of the ceremony did Conner tell you before you acceptedd the necklace? ” i looked at Conner, “Conner hasnt told me anything it was his father that said if i put on the necklace it would be a life time commitment.”


she then sniggered as i went on. “i thought at first he meant friendship it wasnt until the artic clan kidnapped me that it was a marraige which i said yes to again.” “well if you must know i wrote her a letter, so i could explain the right way!” i then got a image in my head, “their was a letter but i never got to read it cause Mark came in.” she looked at Conner, “you did this to a girl that already waswith someone!”


 we both yelled no then looked at each other, “Mark is a vampire that is trying to marry me and Conner asked me first.” he then looked at mom,“it’s okay when we go to dads next we will see what we must do.” she laughed then got serious. “your dad doesnt know it he was drunk the whole time we did ours.” i then turned to hear what we needed to do. 


Chapter 22
“well after you visit each tribe, which is not our tradition by the way.” Conner then urged her to continue. “okay, okay, you take the items of each tribe and present them to the shamen who lives at Yoshikien, Japan. the rest is like a normal wedding except for the oathing ceremony. “wait, what the shamen isnt here.”


 she looked at the both of us, “their hasnt been a shamen here in fifty years.” i took a deep breath and walked to the bathroom. after a few minutes i guess she left with Mark when i herd a door shut. a knock then came on the door. “Come in Conner, im sorry about earlier i didnt mean to get upset at her.” 


he shook his head, “i talked to her and she understands.” “she kinda took Mark somewhere, i think she has a new play toy. “i gave him a hug and when my hand brushed his the moon stone started to glow.” why is it glowing like that everytime i go near it? “i dont know lets show mom and see if she knows.” 


we then showed it to his mom who started to think, ushering us to follow her. deep in the cave was a locked room. we then watched as she unlocked the door. “a long time ago their was a original clan, none of this can there a clan that.” we looked in amazement. 


he pulled out a scroll made from sheeps stomach.
“their is a story that says the, lets just call them king and queen were in love but the kings brother grew fond of the queen. one day he tried wooing the queen and when she rejected him he grew angry. “what did he do?” “he threatened to take everything she loved. 


Chapter23
well you can imagine how upset and scared she was when she found out she was pregnant. she went and pulled out a newish type of scroll made of silk. “she and her husband called upon a witch and used her to bring her most trusted human. she then got the witch to bury her daughters wolf abilities to hide her better, in the world of humans. she then sent her humans with the mortal to keep them safe. 


the brother became so furious a real battle came and four of her most trusted came to aid her with their family.” “she did not wish her friends to get hurt so she took a extra vile of the witches humanity potion and killed herself.” me and Conner gasped at the news. the kings brother searched for years for the lost heir to the thrown. he then banished all four of her friends to different lands. 


“what ever happened to the daughter?” she looked all over the vault. “their is no information on her, but if people feel a connection like i do then she must still be alive.” i looked at Conner’s mom and took a deep breath. “how do we find out if i am the lost child?“


she looked at her son and thought of the information we gave her. if you are the heir to the original bloodline a omakai.” he then looked worried at his mom. “what about the marraige we still have not finished the ceremony and the shrine was in the opposite direction.” she smiled, “you two go back to your room and rest, ill figure the rest out. 


me and Conner then staid in our room standing nerviously by the door. Conner then quietly grabbed my hand and we had a romantic night. even after a few minutes i became more relaxed and we had never felt happier. “son, time to get up and get ready to go.” we both woke up and looked at each other. 


Chapter 25
“what are you talking about mom where are we going?” she smiled we got back to the airport and she handed us two tickets to japan. “but the wedding will have to make it.” she placed her hand up, “it weems your dad is thinking the same as you, cause he called me and agreed to postpone the wedding till we know what is going on. “that sounds like dad one step ahead of adventure two steps behind family.” 


she gave a stern look at Conner. “it’s not your fathers fault We were all in a big aww at what we had just seen. “i am the shamen Angakuit.” “please i have had some unique things happen to me.” i looked over at Conner and grabbed his cane. 


as i looked at the shamen Conners moon stone started to glow. “i see is this truly the path you want to go down? “i nodded yes and the shamen covered my eyes. you have had quite a journey even as a child. please i want to know everything and be what i truly am.


 he then moved his hands away from me, then placed a thumb on my forhead. 
It was almost as if a surge of energy ran through my body. “what happened to me i fail super awake?” Conner had a shocked look on his face. “i feel super different. 


“our long lost omorkai we are for ever your servant.”
i grabbed them both and pulled them off their knees. “i think a wedding is still in our future.” he smiled and we started to kiss. “actually you have a small kick up.


Chapter 26
 Conner will become next high king when yall get married.” i shook my head, “so how is that a bad thing? “before you get married you need to go through the oathing, then he has to not only reject his stone which is painful but he has to go through the oathing again.” “okay and then we can get married?” “no, you need to get your father to step down.” 


“i’m sorry there must be some mistake my father is gone.” “Maybe you should talk to this young mans father.” i then looked at Conner who looked just as shocked. a gust of wind blew into the room and angakuit was gone. “we have to see your father anyway for the wedding so lets go.”


 we then started heading back to the airport. As we were going i noticed the rickshaw was going the wrong way. we started to try and get out but a thick glass came down and locked closed. a gas came through the back seat and we became dizzy and couldnt break the glass. when i started to wake up i saw we were in a nice building. 


“where are we, Conner are you okay?” i started shaking him but he wouldnt wake up. “its okay he is only sleeping infact he should be waking up real soon. a man then opened a door and walked into the room. wait i know you or at least i think i do. 


he smiled, i would hope you would recognise your my uncle.” “you, you killed my mother!” he threw up my hands. “guilty as charged, but she rejected me!” as Conner started to wake up i felt a untollerable urge to hit him.


Chapter 27
 i would then feel myself start to change. i was being forced to go on all fours from the pain. “whats happening to me.” he started to smile and walk around me. “Your morphing into a complete demon form your a omakai after all. 


after a few minutes i was half the size of the room and looked like a wolf, except with three tails. Conner was then fully awake. “Sonya please i know this is hard but you need to calm down.” i loooked at Conner then looked back at him and started to growl. Conner then grabbed my snout and made me look at no one but him.


 “calm down and think of me and the happiness.” i closed my eyes and slowly began to change after a few minutes i was human again. we almost. i ended up keeping the ears and tail. “it was her choice to love and you never loved her anyway. you just wanted the fame you would obtain when assending the thrown.”


“that’s not true i was truly in love with her and when she ended her life. that night it killed a part of me as well. a power came over me as gravity seemed to fade away. he too began his transformation into being a wolf. a epic battle took place in this tiny room. he then was thrown out the window and we fought in the streets of Japan.


at the end i stood over my uncle and watched him cower at the very sight of me. “as winner of this dual i command you leave!” i turned my back to him to check on Conner. i went right in front of him when he pushed me out of the way and stabed my uncle with the sword inside his staff. “are you okay?”


Chapter 28
i nodded my head and looked back at my dead uncle body. “i wish this didnt have to happen.” he helped me up and we slowly walked to the nearest phone. we made a anonomouse tip that a wild wolf was killed. then we called for a taxi to the airport.


Rocky mountains, noth carolina, we finally made it to the lost clan. his father came and took us to a giant log cabin resort. at this time of the year the mountain top just got some fresh dusting. “so how is your mom doing latly.” “if you truly care why no go and see her.”


his father just grabbed our lugagge and rang a bell at the front desk. “a one room honey sweat. i smiled and we walked to a set of elevators. his dad stoffed at our doorand told us he would come back later. we walked inside and saw a small kitchen and a balcony facing towards the sunset.


as i started toward the window a gift was on the bed. “i wounder what this could be?” he sat next to me and i opened the box. inside was a beautiful braided green and brown ropen with flowers all over it. “its beautiful and now that we have all the pieces we are one step closer to getting married.
we then met his wedding, son have you two love birds found a place for the ceremony. 


we looked at each other. “i dont know we havent had time to think since i turned.” his father looked confussed. i lifted my long fur cloak the artic wolves gave us and one of my tails fell out. “so its true you are the lost princess. Conner cleared his throat, “Actually i know a perfect near here, seems we can get married and do the oathing all at onces. 


Chapter 29
“not rainbow falls son its over done.“”trditional is romantic dad and cleashae.” the room started building with tension.” lets start with Conner rejecting his stone.” his dad frowned, “but thats a painfull all might process and well need a cell or a cave.”


 i looked worried at Conner. “the old bear cave could work, is that man stone i gave you still okay?” he nodded yes and he said hell do the ceremony tonight. we took a snow mobile over to bears cave were his father was waiting for us. In the cave was torches and a stone table with water that flowed on top.


 His father then gestured for him to lay down. After Connor laid in the water on top of the alter his father asked if we brought his stone? I pulled the stone out of my pocket and as instructed I placed it on Connor's forehead. his father glanced at me, "I need you to do me two favors" I knodded okay. the first thing he asked was for me to handcuff Connor to the table.


 He ten brought me to a well. we fallowed a chain till we reached the end and he quickly cuffed me to it.
"what are you doing let me go!" Connor started struggling as his father started to hover over his body. He paused, took the knife from his belt into the water an cut Connor across the left arm. 


He chanted again and repeated the sequence from left arm to right arm. He then cut both ankles.
Connor kept howling an screaming as his body changed back and forth. I kept screaming for his dad to stop but was ignored. I had just broke free when he made the final cut under the belly button.


Chapter 30
 "we have to stop the bleeding, I'm so sorry Connor!" "It will take his body all night to regenerate." I unlocked him from the table and tried to drag him off. his dad then came over and tried to help. "Leave us alone you almost killed him!" 


his father grabbed him and moved him to a hay bedded area. I laid next to Connor as his dad stood back up. he then held is hand out to me. when I looked at his hand and held out mine, he dropped a broken moon stone in my hand. "thank you, I just love him so much."


 he smiled, "I remember his mom loving me the same way. you have till the setting of the next full moon before he turns." I then laid next to him and fell asleep. that morning I looked under the bandages at the cuts and saw they had completely healed. I ran my hand along were the cut was on the belly. then with his eyes closed he grabbed my hand. 


"Please don' t that tickles." I laughed and gave him a hug. "why don't you and I go back to the resort and get breakfast." he agreed and slowly got up. "Connor are you okay?" he paused and grabbed my shoulder.


He held onto me while I drove us to the resort. he seemed to be feeling better as we ate breakfast. Connor kept looking at me and then ate his breakfast. "Connor what is wrong, I can sense something is bothering you. " "it just feels different being human and feeling vulnerable."


Connors 31
just mopped around most the morning. "Connor why don't we go to rainbow falls and see what we need for the wedding." "I would like it to be a surprise for you, can my mother and father work on it?" I nodded yes, "what are we going to do then?" "Well I can think of a few things for your wedding night."


I turned and smiled when I saw his mom. "First my son is going to go get ready with my mark. Your highness is going to get a dress." I smiled as we went in opposite directions. "Ahh, but I don't have any money for a dress."


She smiled," it's our pleasure to pay for everything." I thanked her and tried on a few dresses. I found a beautiful light blue dress that covered my arms and legs. It even looked good with the cloak. We then picked a cabbage and potatoes stew.


 He also picked Sheppards pie. I kept looking at the calender and this morning when I crossed out the day I realized we had one more day before Connor would turn. If it wasn't for Connors family I don't think this would be possible. I then gave a sigh at the same time Connors mom walked into the room. She came closer to me, "what is wrong you should be happy." 


"I just wished my mom was here, I know she isn't really my mom but she was the closest one." She gave me a hug and started brushing my hair." "I'm sure if she could be here she would." I gave a smile and walked with her to the room. "Connor what are you doing, you can't be in the room your getting married tomorrow!" 


Chapter32
He shakenly looked around. "Then were am I suppose to sleep tonight mother?" He then winked at me without his mom catching him I giggled and his mom looked up from digging in her purse. She pulled out a key card and handed it to Connor. "Your not allowed to see her till you get to the alter!"


 Connor then walked past and gave a peck on the cheek. Which made me smile. He then ran down the hall and into the elevator. "That boy is almost as bad as his dad sometimes." She turned and smiled at me, "at least he found a girl worth marrying." 


I started to blush, "thank you." I then started walking to my door and head inside. It must of took me half the night before my pre wedding jitters dissappeared and I was able to get some sleep. I tossed and turned in my bed. I tried counting sheep.


 I remembered seeing Connors room number on his key and decided to give him a call. Know that I think about it maybe that's why I was up half the night.
morning came and Connors mom came and did my hair, then she did my makeup. I stood in front of a mirror and smiled at the image. "Your going to love what we have in store for you and Connor." 


I smiled, "I hope it wasn't too much of a bother." She shook her head no, "we actually had fun setting up." "Know Connor is already their waiting on us so we have to go." We reached the lobby and it seemed deserted for the wedding only one that was their was the lobbiest. He held out the door to reveal a horse drawn sleigh.


Chapter 33
 We got in the sleigh and the lobbies got up front and grabbed the reigns. "Please don't worry mrs, you will arrive right on time and if it gets cold their are blankets." I thanked him and we set off on a thirty minute ride. We looked all around at the beautiful ceremony. I then noticed we were going down hill into a bowl like area surrounded by mountains. 


Strings were placed everywhere so when it rained the last two nights icicles formed all over. Seats with blue covers were creating isles for the guest to sit.
The sleigh stopped at the end of the isles. Connors mom got out first as music started to play. I looked around as I got out and was amazed at the energy. 


To the left of the alter was a beautiful waterfall that's top was frozen and the water still coul run down. Then to the right was a wall and cave covered in gems. I slowly walked down the isle smiling. I was so happy to see Connor I could of ran up the isle and held him tight. As i got closer I saw his mom and dad standing near him and on my side a woman was standing their but I couldn't see who with the hood she wore. 


I got close to the alter and Connors mom signaled the lady to my left. I started to cry from happiness as I saw it was my mom under the hood. She then gave me a hug. "How did you get here?" "Connor came yesterday, you would not believe how fast they run."


 I gave a small laugh and took my last step to the alter. The shaman was their ready to begin the ceremony. My mom came forward and his mom as well. They both were holding a rope, Connors dad gave to use a few days ago.they then wrapped the rope around our clutched hands and went back to their place.


Chapter 34
 "Mrs you have to remove the hood, it's custome." I looked nervious, "please make an acception." "I'm sorry but customers are important." I took a deep breath and pulled off the hood with Connors help. You could hear everyone gasp then chatter. 


Connors dad then stepped in the isle. "Please let us continue this wedding and then we'll announce the obvious." We then continued the ceremony. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the love of Connor and Sonya. Let them share the reflection of their feeling upon one another.


 Do you have the offerings?" We nodded and handed over the cloak and the chalace. "Please walk in a circle till you meet for the second time in front of the alter." The shaman then snugged us with sage and with our knotted hands we lit each others candles then the center one. We then watched as the shaman carefully slid a sword between our bound hands.


 When he pulled the sword out it cut our hands. You are now bound In blood and your life force woven together. "You may undo the rope and kiss your bride." We were unbound and kissed till a man started down the isle. As we looked back he stopped half way. 


"Sir, this is a wedding can we help you?" He froze after looking at me. "Why yes, it's not everyday your daughter gets married." All our guests Connors mom and dad, even the shaman knelt down in this mans presence. Since their was no real place to talk we ushered this man into the cave of gems.


Chapter 35
 "What can we do for you?" "You do know since she is my daughter you can't get married unless I step down." Connor started to get upset, "I love your daughter before she is who she is today! I will die for her! I even rejected my own stone to marry her." He looked at me then at Connor. 


"Come with me to our people." We then walked back to the alter. "My people from far and near I am happy to have my daughter that was lost to us come home. And though I am happy she found such a brave and noble man." "I will not be giving up the thrown today." 


The people started whispering to each other. He then looked at us with a smile As i held Connors hand. "Instead I will utter my new high alphas to take my place till I see fit to give them my thrown." Connor was surprised at the kings acceptance. "I do believe we now have two people ready for their oathing." 


We then herd a rumbling in the ground. As everyone stood on their feet from the shaking noise came from the cave. A noise almost like growling came from the entrance. "Who dares come to my cave?" The king turned to face the cave. 


"I have two heirs who are needing a stone great igrain." A loud growl came echoing out and you could hear a few rocks fall. "I thought the dragon and Gaia were dead?" Her father lookedat me, "human tales to stop them of their greed. Grain was trapped in this cave and since Gaia is part of the earth."


Chapter 36
 Grain slowly came out and faced us. "Come forth into my cave allow a stone to brace you." Me and Connor stepped inside the cave. As we got down to a certain extent the gems started to glow. "How will we find the one that's calling to us?" 


"I don't know we usually get our stones as babies."
We eventually decided to stop and wait a while. All of a sudden we both herd a quiet whistle. As we listened it came closer till our ears hurt from the sound of a dog whistle. We ducked at the sight of two stones flying towards us.


 When we stood up they froze and hovered twirling in front of us. We grabbed them and walked outside the cave. The clans cheered to see the stones had choose us. "Dear guests if you would go back to the resort we will start the reception soon." "Give me your stones so that I may polish them."


 We let go of the hematite stones that looked like they captured a rainbow. after a few hours the stones were done. The dragon released them and they flew back to us. "Now all you need is gaia's blessings."
